Mercury 80 Content Management System

Mercury 80 is a combination content management system and web application development tool that I built out of necessity.

After spending many years building out custom database applications from scratch, I realized that about 80% of the functionality in all the applications that I wrote is the same.  For example, all database applications need search, sort, add, modify, delete functionality, whether it is a contact database, or an inventory database.

So I started building a set of tools which enabled a more rapid growth of future applications.  Over time, I strategically organized these tools into a single web application development tool, that I call Mercury 80.

What is Mercury 80? How is it used?

Mercury 80 is a tool that I use to develop applications for my clients.  Applications created are completely independent of each other, but they all run on top of the Mercury 80 code base.  Mercury 80 is not an application by itself because it doesn't have a preprogrammed design, content, or site outline.  Instead, Mercury 80 enables web sites of any nature to be built as flexibly and cleanly as if being built from the ground up, but from a code base that has already been thoroughly tested, debugged, and proven.
